Flights of Fancy Vol. 1

A 2 track house single (14m 49s) — released February 20th 2012 on International Feel

Flights of Fancy Vol 1 is the start of a new series showcasing what, through our Ear Dimension Filters, Balearic sounds like. Yeah Yeah, the whole (supposed) point of Balearic music is that it can be anything as long as its good (with a bit of cheese thrown in and FOF will, at some points, certainly be over ripe) but like most things, that means something different to every single person, so in simple terms.....this is what Balearic sounds like to us. Throw in the aforementioned small portion of cheese, some "cannibals 'bout to eat you" percussion / mad chanting and you're there (or thereabouts - it's Balearic from Uruguay after all !) -------- You KNOW I like this - Todd Terje Great track matey - sounds like something you'd hear on an old Baldelli tape from 1981 ;) - Balearic Mike Something I'll definitely be playing out - Phil South, Golf Channel Great stuff here. Tempo of the night is my fav..very Steve Reich ....very Alan Parson Project - Severino, Horse Meat Disco Yes, as you say, just the right amount of cheese and 80s influence to make it Balearic, loads of atmosphere on both these track. Tempo of the Night is the one for me. Will definitely go into my first Melodica of 2012, a hangover cure special - Chris Coco Good Stuff, going to play on my Radio Show tonight - Tim 'Love' Lee Tempo of the Night is the one for us - Soft Rocks Love's a Dancer is well up my alley - Roy Dank, Wurst Loving the Tracks - Pathaan Super nice release. The music could easily be a soundtrack to a movie no one remembers except for the music - Tobias, TwentyFour Hours This is brilliant! Tempo Of The Night is a fantastic piece & I'm really into Love's A Dancer - Max Essa
